The news and images reaching us these days are something most of us hadn't thought possible for a long time. War has broken out in Europe again. People are dying in Ukraine, fighting against the Russian army, barricading themselves in subway stations and basements, or fleeing. Many people want to help and offer support. The Lesbian and Gay Federation (LSVD), along with numerous other organizations from the LGBTQ* community in Germany, has joined forces in the "Queer Emergency Aid Ukraine alliance".
There is also the English-language collection "Resources for Ukrainian Refugees and Supporters." Further support options can be found in a collection compiled by the Tagesspiegel newspaper or listed on queer.de.
